There are so many shoe designers that have stolen my heart, sometimes it’s hard for me to even consider which is my true favorite. Certainly in my top three is Seychelles, with their attention to detail, style, and comfort. I’ve recently found a few new pairs I’d love to have… want to see? Here are 8 gorgeous shoes by Seychelles.
1 Cuckoo Bootie
This darling Gibson Girl-inspired bootie is all lush post-Victorian details, with a modern twist, from its button-bedecked upper and its lacy insert, with a stacked heel, back zip, and pretty peep toe. Pair with an LBD (little blue dress) and patterned tights, or with high-waisted grey wool trousers and a cream-colored top.
2 In with the New Heel
Out with the old and in with the blue… or yellow… Available in either navy or mustard, these curvaceous round-toe pumps are the ideal way to celebrate a new season. I love the scalloped cut-outs and the heavy top-stitching, the cone heel and the twin bows on the toes. I’d pair the yellow with a floral-print dress, and the blue with something grey. Gorgeous!
3 Ring in the New Year Heel
Celebrate the New Year, or just a fab new LBD, with these lush inky black velvet shoes by Seychelles. They feature a copper-colored leather detail, swooping from the inside of the ankle to the outside, and a delicate pleat across the toe. The cone heel makes them easily walk-able, and the color combination makes them my new fave party shoe!
4 Cloak and Dagger Heel
While all that glitters isn’t gold, that’s certainly the case with these gorgeous glittery pumps! They feature matte-finish gold leather with a 4-inch wood-look platform heel and beautiful gold-tone studs all around. Pair with a pencil skirt and cropped trench for a night out… sleek and chic!
5 Platinum Boot
While some boots stop a modest mid-calf, these boots travel beyond, just above your knee, adding a layer of warmth to skirts, leggings, and tights, or just another layer of style over skinny jeans. They’re made of buttery soft brown leather with a long zipper on the inside and a stacked wood-look heel.
6 Hawk Wedge
Wedges are totally on-trend right now, and one peek at these dove-grey ones will leave you with no doubt about why. I love the peep-toe and the criss-crossing band detail, and the color is neutral but still somehow spicy. Pair with any of your favorite frocks for a fabulous work-week look, or with patterned tights and cuffed shorts for a street-savvy girls’-night-out ensemble.
7 Stroke of Midnight Heel
What lovely heels, with their staked heel, two-tone brown leather uppers, and brass studs at each side! I also adore the perforated detail along the sides and the wood-look heel. I’d wear these with a lacy little dress and patterned tights, or with a long creamy tunic and my best skinny jeans.
Now that you’ve seen just this smattering of their shoes, is it any wonder I adore indie brand Seychelles? I adore every pair of these shoes, and would be hard pressed to say which I love best… but maybe you’re less indecisive… Which of these shoes do you like best, and what would you wear them with?
